You're right. 'AutoIt Window Info' is the same thing as 'AutoIt Window Spy'.

I create an empty GUI with hidden button...

#include <GUIConstants.au3>
$gui = GUICreate ( "test" , 400,300,-1,-1)
$btn = GUICtrlCreateButton("testbtn",30,30,100,30)
GUICtrlSetState ( $btn, $GUI_HIDE )
GUISetState (@SW_SHOW)
while 1
    sleep(100)
WEnd

...and 'AutoIt Window Info' can find the button by blind dragging mouse over it.

Press CTRL-ALT-F to pause the display.

Is this what you want to know?
