Briegel Posted July 5, 2006 Posted July 5, 2006 You're right. 'AutoIt Window Info' is the same thing as 'AutoIt Window Spy'. I create an empty GUI with hidden button... #include <GUIConstants.au3> $gui = GUICreate ( "test" , 400,300,-1,-1) $btn = GUICtrlCreateButton("testbtn",30,30,100,30) GUICtrlSetState ( $btn, $GUI_HIDE ) GUISetState (@SW_SHOW) while 1 sleep(100) WEnd ...and 'AutoIt Window Info' can find the button by blind dragging mouse over it. Press CTRL-ALT-F to pause the display. >>>>>>>>>>>> Window Details <<<<<<<<<<<<< Title: test Class: AutoIt v3 GUI Size: X: 438 Y: 325 W: 406 H: 325 >>>>>>>>>>> Mouse Details <<<<<<<<<<< Screen: X: 483 Y: 380 Cursor ID: 2 >>>>>>>>>>> Pixel Color Under Mouse <<<<<<<<<<< RGB: Hex: 0xD4D0C8 Dec: 13947080 >>>>>>>>>>> Control Under Mouse <<<<<<<<<<< Size: X: 30 Y: 30 W: 100 H: 30 Control ID: 3 ClassNameNN: Button1 Text: testbtn Style: 0x40034000 ExStyle: 0x00000000 (Control is hidden) >>>>>>>>>>> Status Bar Text <<<<<<<<<<< >>>>>>>>>>> Visible Window Text <<<<<<<<<<< >>>>>>>>>>> Hidden Window Text <<<<<<<<<<< testbtn Is this what you want to know?
