Scite question

Recommended Posts

This is a small thing, but when I make a new file in SciTE, and I click "save as", I have to type the file type. I take it the reason is you can use the editor for different languages? It would be nice that the default would be au3, or what ever I like to set it to. I've looked in the various options, and I'm not sure on where to set this.

It has been asked before and I don't think there is an option for this in SciTE. :D

HI,

maybe you can get used to this workaround. Make a script with your header. Like type setupudf then Ctrl+B in scite and save it as .au3

Then you always open this script in you Scite sessions.

When you want to have a new script, you can press Ctrl+Shift+p Save a Copy.

Now you are able just to hit pos1 and type name of script. :D

So long,

Mega
