Autoit and SMS

4 posts in this topic

This is probably a little out of the scope of this forum but I thought I'd give it a shot. I've create just some simple autoit scripts that just do some file copies. I've tested them and they work. I then copied them up to a pkgsource directory on our network and I'm using SMS to push a package I've created that only consists of this compiled script. The package goes out ok and it says it's successful but my copies aren't happening. The copies reference drive mappings that I know the user has. I've even ran the compiled script from the pkgsource directory that SMS is pointing to and they work. I've tried a couple different scripts with the same results. Anyone have any ideas?

go to the package

expand it and select programs

right click on the program and select properties

goto the environment tab

select program can run "Only when user is logged on"

this will allow you to select Run with User rights in the "Run mode" section

give that a try

Don't argue with an idiot; people watching may not be able to tell the difference.

That fixed it. The other thing I had to do was have it copy to the client before executing. Thanks.
