Hi,

I am a new user of Autoit and I have a simple question.

I am editing a script and I would like to open a xls file.

Now I red that the FileOpen command is valid only for text file.

What is the command to use in the case of .xls file?

Thanks

Miki

HI,

you can open the file by a doy command. _RunDos() or RUN and have a look at @comspec.

The file will always be opened with the associated app in the reg. Normally xls --> Excel.

So long,

Mega

search the forum for "+excel +udf". You will find two threads:

  • ExcelCOM UDF
  • New ExcelUDF
