Moderators SmOke_N Posted August 13, 2006 Moderators Share Posted August 13, 2006 Is it possible to 'freeze' a process with autoit? This topic leads to a lot of different things... what "specifically" are you trying to do (in detail)? Common sense plays a role in the basics of understanding AutoIt... If you're lacking in that, do us all a favor, and step away from the computer. alex OF DEATH
Well, im trying to bypass an anti game hacking program called X-trap. I want to freeze xtrap after it launches, so it's launched but can't do anything. Possible?
tAKTelapis
i can only assume that forcing the program to lie dormant whilst still running would result in something giving up the ghost on the system. normally when a process crashes it becomes un-responsive, and in turn locks the whole system up. alex OF DEATH
I know ProcessGuard can do it. I haven't tested it myself, but Many people said it didnt work. Either way, I want to incorporate it into an autoit program, so Process guard wouldnt work.
Klaatu
Either way, I want to incorporate it into an autoit program, so Process guard wouldnt work. Why not, since you can control Process Guard with AutoIt too?
