Or is there a better method of installing multiple files, directories and subdirectories?

Thanks

When you have a lot of files you could put them in an self extracting exe and FileInstall() that after which yu run it.

Thanks for the advice! Had already considered that as a solution but wondering if there is more of an internal solution rather than having to use a third party tool to compress the files.

The way I do it is by cheating a little bit.

1) I create a self extract zip file using 7 zip

2) FileInstall() to include the self extract .exe with my script

3) RunWait function to start the self extract .exe

I hope this help you or give an idea....

Edit JdeB type faster than me :lmao:

SendToA3X has an item called AutoIt Archiver which can generate a FileInstall script based on a directory. You just need to call the functions created within the script as to your needs.
