Scripting Advice

I would like some advice on hotkeys binding... Currently my script is like that:

HotKeySet ("^!a", "SendATil")

Func SendATil()
    Send("{LCTRL}ã")
EndFunc

but I think that it's not the best way to do that, since I have 8+ hotkeys like that set... Also note that I send a {LCTRL} because if I don't send it, the "ã" doesn't appear...

All advices are welcome.
