How to wait untill a window has stopped loading

5 posts in this topic

Hi,

This is for use with internet pages. How can I tell the script how to wait untill a window has completely loaded (other than setting a fixed sleep time) ?

Commands like WinWaitActive act as soon as the requested window title is up, yet the contents of th epage might still be downloading.

Thanks

Lookup _IELoadWait in the help file. You may want to look at the other IE commands too.

Edit - Too slow again.

Hey thanks ! I didn't even know what the UDFs were ;)

Ok one more question:

Is a way to establish an IE reference for an existing window ?

eg. it's easy to say $oIE = _IECreate() ....

but I want to used _IELoadWait() with a window I opened by clicking on a link or whatever, not by generating a new window.

I think it's _IEAttach

Don't argue with an idiot; people watching may not be able to tell the difference.
