Detect CDROM or DVDROM Drive

Recommended Posts

Ok, been searching for about an hour with no luck. I have found out how to determine if a drive letter is a CDROM, but how would one go through all the valid letters and find out which ones are CDROM's?

I also need to find a file within that letter and declare that drive a variable, so I can execute that found file.

DriveGetType( "d:\" ) = "CDROM

Use DriveGetDrive()

$var = DriveGetDrive( "CDROM" )
If NOT @error Then
    MsgBox(4096,"", "Found " & $var[0] & " drives")
    For $i = 1 to $var[0]
        MsgBox(4096,"Drive " & $i, $var[$i])
