Symantec Antivirus

Recommended Posts

Ran into an interesting issue that I have not yet fully debugged. Computers running the SAV 10.1 server began, on or around the end of the year, no longer will run autoit compiled applications -- they fail with the "<app> is not a valid win32 application" error.

Copy the app to a local drive, and they run fine. I tried some version regression, to no avail. I have temporarily copied apps to local drives to workaround this.

If any fellow SAV 10 admins / au3 users have any suggestions or solutions before I waste an hour or two of my life on the phone w/ Symantec, I'd love to hear it.

Good luck. I wish you well on your phone call to them. :P

The antivirus / program updates for today 1/10/2007 resolved the outstanding issue.
