My program downloads rardar images from the internet and the displays them in a GUI. When it downloads, it shows up white in preview, but in the program the border is black??

The reason it is doing this is because the border that you claim is white really isn't white. It is 100% transparent and therefore has no color. To fill it in, AutoIt selects black to be the background that the gif sits on and since that part of the gif image is transparent, the color black shows through it there. I tried to use GUICtrlSetBkColor() to change this, but i had no luck. If it really bothers you, don't use a gif. See if they have other images that are jpeg since jpg files don't support transparency. I personally didn't have any problem with the picture's border being black. Looked absolutely fine to me.

@The Kandie Man: Thankyou, but you must have missread my code or something, because it downloads .gifs from the internet.

@SmokeN: Thanks, but it sadly didnt help, on a closer look in the helpfile i saw:

Only Label, Checkbox, Group, Radio, Edit, Input, List, Listview, ListviewItem, Treeview, TreeviewItem, Graphic and Progress controls can currently be colored.

I think thats probablly my answer, it can't be done

Thanks all.

You obviously don't understand what either of us are saying.

Common sense plays a role in the basics of understanding AutoIt... If you're lacking in that, do us all a favor, and step away from the computer.
