Or just check by writting and if its fails prompt the user and say you cant write there... Or you can use Auto3Lib and it's TreeView functions for directly manipulate TreeView inside your directory tree inside Directory select dialog.You can delete desired items immediatelly after open Directory select dialog.I think you could use Adlib section to catch that your dialog.
