Parameter question

3 posts in this topic

How do I designate the function _IEBodyReadText to read the present or active window's HTML? What is the correct parameter?

Thanks.

By specifying the object variable of the window, which you got from something like _IEAttach().

#include <ie.au3>

$objIE = _IEAttach("Google", "WindowTitle")
If IsObj($objIE) Then
    $Text = _IEBodyReadText($objIE)
    MsgBox(64, "Results", $Text)
Else
    MsgBox(16, "Error", "Did not attach to IE.")
EndIf
