I've had this happend alot, I usually manually open the help, or restart scite and it works again. Did you you install autoit or run it from somewhere else?

Don't bother, It's inside your monitor!------GUISetOnEvent should behave more like HotKeySet()

Should work fine .... only doesn't when you have text selected with muliple words in it.

Have you used the installer or have you downloaded the ZIP file ?

Open au3.properties and check if AutoIt3Dir= contains the correct directory .

Restarting SciTE doesn't do much .. and for me F1 never gives any problems and still use it a heck of alot :)

If you dont save... then it dont know what to look for help in :D

EDIT: Spelling :D

YES that too.. You have to save the script first with the AU3 extension before F1 will work because else SciTE doesn't know what "command set" to use.

Re-Install what ?

Don't see why that would be needed ....

well

i opened the scite then au3.properties, pasted my directory over the old one (just to make sure it was right, but i dont think anything changed) and saved it.

then i tried to open the help menu again and it didnt work :)

and as for reinstalling.. i tried reinstalling the beta, normal and scite. all this was done after i uninstalled it each time.

So did you save it as a .au3??

i thought it was already an au3. :D

ty its fixxed now :)

edit: its not working now :D its saved as an au3 file to O.o

edit2: it seems not to work after i close the file. i have to have it open for it to work and i have the au3.properties selected.
