Sirwin
Ok, I searched around and I haven't really came across a "how to guide" for rewriting vba to scripting. So I'm going to start a new thread and the objective is to develop and understand the basic concept and skills needed to rewrite VBA to AutoIT. I think this is a really good topic and I need a GURU as a teacher Any volunteer.. purdy please??? -Steven PS I think AutoIT is perfect for those with ADHD... Sirwin
If you don't show any code we can't help. I was hoping for a teacher to volunteer. A teacher would develop Lesson 1, 2, 3, 4 and so on with clearly written objective, terminologies, skills you will learn for each lesson. A good teacher will also give an example using VBA to scripts and create or use another VBA code for Hands-on Practice for each lesson. This is to give a newbie an opportunity to learn, practice and implements codes from the ground up. I don't want to paste a code here which could very well skip lesson 1-5 and I may not be aware of the skills needed. So, any volunteer?
Zedna
I'm not volunteer but look at this:1) basic language syntax is VERY similar - so nothing special to say2) DllCall is often used in VB scripts (calling Win32 API functions)3) COM is often used in VB Edited May 28, 2007 by Zedna Resources UDF ResourcesEx UDF AutoIt Forum Search
