Multiple lines to arrays

4 posts in this topic

Well, im using ClipGet() into a variable, and say it had many many lines like:

line 1

line 2

line 3

what I want to do is to split it up like this:

$line[0] = "line 1"

$line[1] = "line 2"

$line[2] = "line 3"

now see, if i just did

$line = ClipGet()

it just returns something like:

$line = "line 1

line 2

line 3"

(just guessing i dunno really)

So how can I split it into arrays instead of all in one variable-thing

(ps: I wont know how many characters are in each string)

Thanks!

Look at the StringSplit and other string management functions in the help file.

Off topic: Stop with all the silly characters.

$Array = StringSplit($line, @LF)
