IE Form automation task

3 posts in this topic

I have a large amount of data to parse from .csv and pump into an online form. I believe that IE.au3 form functions will do the trick. However, it is not feasible for me to automatically navigate to a page via _IENavigate($oIE, "http://xxx").

How can I manually invoke _IEForm functions after manually navigating to the online form? ie. navigate to first form field then click X? to begin automated process -

Much thanks in advance.

Andrew

PS - to simply help visualize my question

Here's a start...

#include <IE.au3>

$sURL = "WebpageWithForm.com"

_IEErrorHandlerRegister()
_IEErrorNotify(False)
; Wait around until user navigates to specified page.
While Not IsObj($oIE)
    Sleep(500)
    $oIE = _IEAttach($sURL, "URL")
WEnd
_IEErrorNotify(True)

HotKeySet("x", "_FillForm")

Func _FillForm()
    ; Code to fill your form here.
EndFunc   ;==>_FillForm
