Izebize Posted December 10, 2007 Posted December 10, 2007 (edited) I've got a list.txt, and I want to remove the first line.I used this _RemoveLineInFileIt works correctly, and removes the line what I want, but without the @CRLF.Can someone help, how could I remove the @CRLF too?So the original 2nd row would be the first, the 3rd will become the 2nd, and soo on. Antiec Posted December 10, 2007 Posted December 10, 2007 Are you using version 3.2.10.0? Does it leave an empty line at the every removed one or does it add one empty line to the first line on the file? The latter is a bug which is fixed on 3.2.11.0... You can fix it yourself on the File.au3 (make sure you backup it) while waiting for the 3.2.11.0 release.
Izebize Posted December 10, 2007 Author Posted December 10, 2007 It leaves an empty line at the removed one. Example: Gabriel@CRLF Jhonson@CRLF after removing the first line: @CRLF Jhonson@CRLF Can you give me some instruction, what to fix in the File.au3 file, or a link for it?
DjDeep00 Posted December 10, 2007 Posted December 10, 2007 @Izebize...I just tried it and I have no problems with @CRLF....Please post a example text file...and your code...
Antiec Posted December 10, 2007 Posted December 10, 2007 Yeah, I didn't have that kind of problem either... So I kinda don't know how to fix it. Examples would help alotta...
Izebize Posted December 10, 2007 Author Posted December 10, 2007 allright here is the text file (C:\stuff.txt): kivilagitott meritovodor nonkonformista szenszennyezodes cserepbodon and the code: _RemoveLineInFile("C:\stuff.txt", "kivilagitott")oÝ÷ Ù»"ÚâyÛaÊ'zÚ(jëh×6_RemoveLineInFile("C:\stuff.txt", "kivilagitott" & @CRLF) both leaves an empty line before "meritovodor"
MrCreatoR Posted December 10, 2007 Posted December 10, 2007 (edited) Try this function: $Ret = ReplaceText("c:\stuff.txt", "kivilagitott" & @CRLF, "") ConsoleWrite($Ret & @LF & @extended) Func ReplaceText($sFileName, $sOldText, $sNewText, $iCount=0, $iCaseSense=0) If Not FileExists($sFileName) Then Return SetError(1, 0, -1) If $sOldText = "" Then Return SetError(2, 0, 0) $sOldText = String($sOldText) Local $hFile = FileOpen($sFileName, 0) Local $sVarToWrite = FileRead($hFile) FileClose($hFile) If Not StringInStr($sVarToWrite, $sOldText, $iCaseSense) Then Return SetError(3, 0, 0) Local $sReplStr = StringReplace($sVarToWrite, $sOldText, $sNewText, $iCount, $iCaseSense) Local $nExtended = @extended Local $hFileW = FileOpen($sFileName, 2) FileWrite($hFileW, $sReplStr) FileClose($hFileW) Return SetError(0, $nExtended, 1) EndFunc Edited December 10, 2007 by MsCreatoR Spoiler Using OS: Win 7 Professional, Using AutoIt Ver(s): 3.3.6.1 / 3.3.8.1 AutoIt Russian Community My Work...
