I'm trying to get an amount from a page I load in IE. What I'm looking for is the amount after 'Gold: '

Partial page source:

<div style="height: 1px; font-size: 1px; color: black;"> </div>

Gold: 34,525<br />

Untrained Citizens: 0<br />

The method I used so far:

$oIE = _IECreate ("http://mypage.com")

$sHTML = _IEBodyReadText ($oIE)

$Info=StringRegExp($sHtml,"Gold: (.*?)",1)

The best I got it say is:

You can use this pattern:

$Info = StringRegExp($sHtml, "(?i).*Gold:.([0-9,]+)<br", 1)
MsgBox(0,"",$Info[0])

Old habbits die hard... You're probably right, and I don't feel like digging through the PCRE manual to find out one way or the other, escaping it (I assume you are referring to <) to make sure it's not used as a reference point at all is fine for me.

Also, your pattern, although it may get the job done, it's a really greedy expression.

I used MsCreatoR's RegEx and it works fine Thanks.

Looks like the same RegEx patterns I use in php, so I'll be able to manage from here
