Hi,

I have a weird problem around With:

I am trying to make BetaPad compatible with the latest AutoIt, as far as I know all bugs are fixed but this one just doesn't work.

I have the following:

Global $DocEd1 = ObjCreate("RICHTEXT.RichTextCtrl")

Any ideas?

Are you running the current version of AutoIt?

This runs fine for me on 3.2.10.0:

GUICreate("Test", 400, 300)

Global $DocEd1 = ObjCreate("RICHTEXT.RichTextCtrl")
Global $GUIActiveX = GUICtrlCreateObj($DocEd1, 10, 10, 380, 280)

The With statement appears to work but I just noticed that the height and width of the GUICtrlCreateObj() are not correct.

Just a quick question.......

Did you actually have to re-install it or would re-registering the control have done it?

Turned out it wasn't installed properly. The file was there but when I regsistered it, it gave me an error (? which I can't remember). So I downloaded and registered it and it worked!

I installed the version v3.2.12.1, and i have that mistake
