'floating' text on the screen

Recommended Posts

Is there any way to have floating text on the screen? Like if I wanted the word "Hello" to be in the center of the screen, how would I do it?

I tried searching, and nothing came up that looked helpful. I couldn't even figure it out using a transparent GUI.

Any ideas?

Thanks!

Brick

I think this was written by Larry before he deleted all his posts, but it does exactly what you want:

;~ #include <GUIConstants.au3>

$hwnd = GUICreate("Text Region", @DesktopWidth, @DesktopHeight, 10, 10, $WS_POPUP, BitOR($WS_EX_TOPMOST,$WS_EX_TOOLWINDOW))
