you mean Syntax highlightning and so on in SciteForAutoit? Check the standard Scite. You need a compiler anyhow, so go for bloodshed c++ http://www.bloodshed.net/devcpp.html

You can make standard DLL file in C

and then call its functions from AutoIt by DllCall()
