Don't get too excited though, I once tried AutoIt with Win95 in a VM a while ago.

See this thread for result.

Did you use AutoIt3A.exe ?

The screen capture talks about AutoIt3.exe.

Yes.

Use AutoIt3 version 3.2.12.1

I recommend to set up UseAnsi=1 option inside

"c:\Program Files\AutoIt3\SciTE\AutoIt3Wrapper\AutoIt3Wrapper.ini"

after instalation of AutoIt3 and Scite4AutoIt3

so it will use autoit3A.exe and AUT2EXEA.exe automatically

when you will Run/Compile by F5/F7 from Scite.

I use this also on my WIN98SE.

EDIT: typo

I just double clicked on a script, so I guess your right.

If I could find that annoying boot floppy image I could reinstall it and try again (I have reinstalled windows since then).

Broken link? PM me and I'll send you the file!

hi !

I'm back with same problem...

Under WIN95 even with ansi_use=1 in wrapper.ini or #directive.....ansi=Y nothing happends when I launch a script in my VM_Win95...

The script I use is OK under XP...

Any suggestion ?

I don't see an issue in the log and it looks like it is using ANSI for you there.

I just tried myself to take this example and compile it on my WinXP SP3 PC using ANSI.

I added this at the top:

#AutoIt3Wrapper_UseAnsi=y

Then copied the generated EXE to my VMWare Win95 setup and it working fine.

My compiled version can be downloaded from here is you want to test it: http://www.autoitscript.com/autoit3/scite/...3/count-for.exe
