IE asking script/active x permission help

5 posts in this topic

I made a small replication script here with a pop-up a message box, however in my "real" htm file I get the pop-up along the top of IE asking for Active x / script permission.

Funny, If I don't use the "copy" function, there is no problem with pop-ups

#include <IE.au3>

$wait = 1000

$oIE =  _IE_Example ("form")

Sleep($wait)

_IEAction($oIE, "selectall")

Sleep($wait)

;_IEAction($oIE, "copy") ; When this is un-commented IE asks for permission ??????

Sleep($wait * 10)

$oIE = ""
Exit

... any ideas around this???

thx

[even more ...]

Funny, if you replace IEAction($oIE, "copy") with Send("^c") it seems to do exactely the same, but without asking for permission.

About the ActiveX/Script permission on the top of IE: you could try to adjust "Internet Options" --> Advanced --> Security. If you check "Allow active content to run in files on My Computer", it might work for you. I checked that option as well, because of my self-made homepage (running on my local PC), which has some ActiveX/Scripting content.

Good advice on disabling this security "feature" here:

http://www.mydigitallife.info/2006/09/25/d...message-in-ie7/

You can also try:

$hIE = _IEPropertyGet($oIE, "hwnd")

ControlSend($hIE, "", "[CLASS:Internet Explorer_Server; INSTANCE:1]", "^c")
