vista vs XP

for some reason when i try a script on my xp computer it works fine but on my vista it's slower and some of the stuff won't work....is there something i should know?

Vista is new, and won't be as mature a system as XP for several years. Vista introduced a whole new set of operating system bells and whistles, and didn't come with everything that XP had, in the name of efficiency or whatever other standards they set for themselves. So, some of your scripts that work on XP won't on Vista without some tinkering, or not at all, depending on the script in question. If you want more specific help, there are a few folks on the forums who actually have Vista and might throw you a bone. Post the script :P
