ok found it i wanna set the info to a progressbar but .... what's wrong???

#include <GUIConstantsEx.au3>

$GUI = GUICreate("GUI", -1, -1, -1, -1)
$PROGRESS = GUICtrlCreateProgress(20, 20, 200, 30)
GUISetState()

While 1
    $msg = GUIGetMsg()
    $var1 = DriveSpaceFree( "c:\" )
    $var2 = DriveSpaceTotal( "c:\" )
    If $msg = $GUI_EVENT_CLOSE Then
        Exit
    EndIf
    $var = $var1 / $var2 * 100
    GUICtrlSetData(GUICtrlRead($PROGRESS), $var)

what's wrong???

You have no clue what you're doing?

Let's do some question and answer...

What does $PROGRESS equal? The Progress control ID. (ie: 4)

What does GUICtrlRead($PROGRESS) equal? The current value of the Progress control (ie: 0)

What is GUICtrlSetData(GUICtrlRead($PROGRESS), $var) going to do? Try to set a control with ID equal to Progress value, to the value of $var.

Do you see the problem?

GUICtrlSetData($PROGRESS, $var)

I guess you're using windows xp style...

just take a look at the Help of GUICtrlSetColor :

Remarks....

...Checkbox, Radio or Progress controls cannot be painted if the "Windows XP style" is used.
