Current active window ID

3 posts in this topic

Im sure this must be an easy question, but how do I get the current active window ID?

Trying to write a small app which will take a screenshot of whatever window is currently selected and put it to clipboard (I can do everything but detect the current window)

Also, am I right in saying this wont work for Dialog boxes etc?

When the Window is currently selected why do you need the Process id ?

$LastActivePid = WinGetProcess("[ACTIVE]")

I think, you want the Window Handle: Just use WinGetHandle("")
