Using Internet Explorer API without disply component

Recommended Posts

Ozzy

Hi all,

I'm trying to automatize some actions on the web.

I don't need to see pages I browse, I only need to get information inside them.

So I have implemented a GUI in which IE componet is placed inside an hidden form...

In this way even if IE is on a different form while browsing pages information's form refresh isn't fluid, scroll bar have such a lag in sliding...

Is there any way to separate IE renderer process from Information's form renderer?

If no, is there any other API that implements a textual browser or similar?

I simply don't want to write my HTTP requests and Coockies management for this simply application...

I hope my english was good enough to understand my problem...

I'm waiting for some help!

bye

Because Windows 7 makes the new window visible, even if

$oIE = _IECreate ("http://google.com/", 0, 0, 0)

I just tested this on Windows 7. It's not true; Windows 7 hides the new window correctly.

#include <IE.au3>
$oIE = _IECreate ("http://google.com/", 0, 0, 0)
