Creating a scroll bar for a graphic

Recommended Posts

furrycow

Hey guys,

i was wondering if it is possible to fit a graphic with a scroll bar...for instance i am planning to plot points on a graphic control, however it will be plotting with time, so as time goes by, the graphic is going to get bigger and bigger...for it to stay on the GUI i really want the visible part of the graphic to remain the same size, just the user uses a scroll bar to scroll the graphic from left to right. I hope i have explained this well enough?

Many thanks

EDIT: I am going to be trying to do this using...

Heres a very rough example. I get painting issues, so you may need to look into fixing things up, such as repainting when the scrollbar is moved.

#include <GUIConstantsEx.au3>
#include <WindowsConstants.au3>
#include <GUIScrollBars.au3>
#include <ScrollBarConstants.au3>

$ChildGUI = GUICreate("", 400, 300, 50, 50, $WS_POPUP, $WS_EX_MDICHILD, $MainGUI)
$graphic = GUICtrlCreateGraphic(0, 0, 500, 375)
GUICtrlSetGraphic ($graphic, $GUI_GR_MOVE, 250, 0)
GUICtrlSetGraphic ($graphic, $GUI_GR_LINE, 250, 500)
GUICtrlSetGraphic ($graphic, $GUI_GR_MOVE, 0, 187)
