Create object without borders...

10 posts in this topic

Hello everybody...

I'm trying to create an object without borders: GUICtrlCreateObj($object1, 0, 0, 20, 20) ...

But I found no way to remove the borders by using: GUICtrlSetStyle() ...

Any ideas?

Greets,

-supersonic.

Here's a code sample:

#include <GuiConstants.au3>
#include <WindowsConstants.au3>

Global $objIE = ObjCreate("Shell.Explorer.2")

FileOpen(@TempDir & "\loading.html", 2)
FileWrite(@TempDir & "\loading.html", '<body bgcolor="FFFFFF" marginheight="0" topmargin="0" vspace="0" marginwidth="0" leftmargin="0" hspace="0" style="margin:0; padding:0; overflow:hidden;"><img src=".\loading.gif" /></body>')
FileClose(@TempDir & "\loading.html")

GUICreate("", 36, 36, 25, 25, $WS_POPUP, $WS_EX_DLGMODALFRAME)
GUICtrlCreateObj($objIE, 8, 8, 20, 20)
GUISetState()

$objIE.navigate(@TempDir & "\loading.html")
Sleep(3000)

You need an animated gif (see attachment).

The animated gif requires 16 x 16 pixel = should be max. size of control.

But with borders the control requires 20 x 20 pixel.

Any ideas to remove the borders?

What object?

Post script reproducing problem.

Just add this to your body style:

border:0

Is there a way to embed a animated gif into a ListView with the help of your UDF?

KIf you just want to show animated GIF on your GUI then look at my Resources UDF.

http://www.autoitscript.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=51103

There is example and also links to other examples for animated GIFs.

I doubt it's not possible/simple.

This has nothing to do with resources. If you can do it with image from disk you should be able to do it also from resources.

Go and take a look at rasim's listview progressbar (I think it's in his signature)... you could create something similar... but with a different control. The problem is which one
