If you start ffmpeg as a child process using Run() you could use StdOutRead() to read and parse the output of ffmpeg.

StdOutRead($ffmpeg)

$ffmpeg = Run(@ComSpec & " /C " & "ffmpeg.exe -i sdf.mp4 -f avi -r 10 -s 256x192 -b 192k -bt 64k -vcodec mpeg4 -deinterlace -acodec mp3 -ar 32000 -ab 96k -ac 2 tuna-vids.avi","",@SW_HIDE)
$Out = StdOutRead($ffmpeg)
While 1
MsgBox(0,$Out,"")
WEnd

This gives nothing?

No need to PM me, just post here.

Try:

#include <Constants.au3>
$ffmpeg = Run(@ComSpec & " /C " & "ffmpeg.exe -i sdf.mp4 -f avi -r 10 -s 256x192 -b 192k -bt 64k -vcodec mpeg4 -deinterlace -acodec mp3 -ar 32000 -ab 96k -ac 2 tuna-vids.avi", "", @SW_HIDE,$STDERR_MERGED)
Sleep(500)
While 1
    $Out = StdoutRead($ffmpeg)
    MsgBox(0, $Out, "")
WEnd
