What I want to do is to be able to create a listview cell that holds a progress bar, and I want to know how to go at it. Like code, etc.

You does it take you so many posts to work out what your question is going to be? People who replied to your first post, which you then changed, have been wasting their time. I erased my reply which had two stabs at trying to help before you changed your request yet again.

Serial port communications UDF Includes functions for binary transmission and reception.printing UDF Useful for graphs, forms, labels, reports etc.Add User Call Tips to SciTE for functions in UDFs not included with AutoIt and for your own scripts.Functions with parameters in OnEvent mode and for Hot Keys One function replaces GuiSetOnEvent, GuiCtrlSetOnEvent and HotKeySet.UDF IsConnected2 for notification of status of connected state of many urls or IPs, without slowing the script.

i think asking for someone to do something for you is alot harder than showing code and initiative.

his post count is low and it seems that he does not want to learn the language for hours to make a script that would take us about 2 minutes.

that is why he did not instantly ask his actual question, hoping someone would give specific example code.

unfortunately.. that is what you are going to have to do. learn.

Is this really you t0ddie? something with a pot and kettle is the first thing that comes to mind here ....

You got to be kidding writing this after all the questions and asking for code you posted in these forums.

I'm sorry. I just want to know how to make a cell that will hold a progress bar. Just a nudge in the right direction.

i have been here a while, so i know whats its like and have been through that phase.

i am here... trying to help in other posts.. not just my own.

and most if not all of my requests... have code in them, that i have attempted to do something with.

if you have a pre-conceived notion of me, then yes.. everything i write from that moment on will seem that way to you i suppose.

My opinion in not preconceived but simply based on facts over the many years you have been a member of these forums.

Anyways ... don't lecture people till you have proven you're in a position to and have earned the credit for it.

end of my lecture.

I'm very interested to how the control is made, so I'm wondering if anyone knows how, and maybe even this topic will be back on track? :)

Cheers,

Brett

Post #13 had a link to the search engine which showed an example and UDF in the second post down
