Is there any way to control a while loop based on the value of a variable . ??

not sure if this is what you mean, if it is then yes :)

basicly what you need to do is

While <condition>

<what to do>

if <condition> then exitloop ;in case you want to stop the loop from something not depending on the first condition

Wend

very simple :)

while 1 will create an endless loop as you should know
