mentosan Posted February 2, 2009 Posted February 2, 2009 Hi ! Why I cannot set a visible tray tip for a couple of seconds ? I'm using : TrayTip("Information", "blablabla", 4, 1) so it should be displayed for around 4 secs, but on my computer I think is less than a second. I compiled the script and tested it on another computer and the result is the same - the tray tip is displayed very quick.

I compiled the script and tested it on another computer and the result is the same - the tray tip is displayed very quick. Does anything keep the script running in the mean time? If the script closes, the tip goes away. If nothing else, add a Sleep(4000) after the TrayTip(). Valuater's AutoIt 1-2-3, Class... Authenticity Posted February 2, 2009 Posted February 2, 2009 TrayTip('Title', 'Text', 10, 1) $Time = TimerInit() Do Sleep(30) $TimeDiff = TimerDiff($Time) Until $TimeDiff > 5000 Exit If this won't work it's something you're doing wrong with your code.
