How do I submit a bug report?

Recommended Posts

Can anyone pleeeease tell me, where I'm supposed to report bugs? This shiny new Trac is crapily misconfigured or it intentionally won't let me in or allow to create an account.

If bug reporting is for elected circle now or isn't of public interest any more, it would be nice to be informed somewhere here instead of wasting time and nerves while running against closed doors.

:)

You don't have to create an account to create a ticket. It's just right now the New Ticked option seems to be disabled, i supose it's because of spam attacks.

Wow, way to be a douche about it. Maybe if you had nicely asked why you can't post to it I would have gave you the answer. However, I don't particularly like your inference that we aren't capable of configuring an issue tracker that has clearly worked in the past. Nor do I like you insinuation that it's for a select few. Maybe you should give people the benefit of the doubt and keep your tongue in check before you waggle it right off.

New ticket creation is turned off. It's intentionally turned off. I have a good reason for turning it off. I'm truly sorry you can't post your ticket because I had to turn it off. However, don't be a fucking douche about it.

Edit: And there's a reason I didn't publicly announce it as well.

Well, I'm sorry if I pissed You off, it wasn't my intention and I would gladly have spared You my post if You HAD announced briefly: "people, don't bother, it's off line for now" OR just had disabled the links to Trac. The way it looked I was doomed to search the forums for hints and reasons till I went blue (or mad, if you wish) - nobody likes to feel like a dumb after all. Besides I don't think I was impolite or even insulted someone having frankly described my impressions, so there's no reason to get personal.

Thanks for stating things clear, anyway.
