Hi.

I have here a Admin WS with tons of Apps installed.

The screensaver is set to activate after 3 minutes, but it never ever is starting.

So I suspect, that something is causing either keyboard or mouse action. How to detect, if this is fact (it could also be a malfunction of Windows XP SP2, causing that the launch of the screensaver is defective) how to detect what is causing the mouse and/or keybd actions?

Regards, Rudi.

Generally by _IsPressed() but I think you don't see anything in your case by this.

As you already mentioned, I do not only need to recognize, *THAT* keystrokes or mouse moves happen, I would need to know, what program or process is doing them.

Nobody any idea how to catch, what's intercepting the screen saver launch?

Thanks, Rudi.

You may try some of SysInternal's utilities pack.

You are thinking of which one out of the tools of Sysinternals?

Regards, Rudi.
