6 posts in this topic

I was wondering if AutoIt was Free to corporation use as well as personal use? (couldn't find any info on forum search)

I use AutoIt everyday at work and was wondering if I was in clear using it in a 'Corporate' environment?

Thanks!

AutoIt is better than sliced bread IMO :)

Do you mean as in selling programs that are creating in AutoIT.

As far as my knowledge is, it's free for you to use as you wish.

I have seen people sell there programs, (i think).

So yes.. I think it is fine.

Sorry guys if im incorrect on this.

No, you have to send me $5 for every script you have written for your company...

I wish... actually, it is completely freeware so use at work all you want.

Best of all, AutoIt continues to be FREE - but if you want to support the time, money and effort spent on the project and web hosting then you may donate using the link to your left in the menu.

Actually, I've never seen mention of any kind of GNU License... or a reference to being "Public Domain" or whatever... Maybe one of the developers will chime in, but in the mean time I would not sweat it... people use it in corporate environments all over the world on a regular basis.
