Recommended Posts

Kash

Hi,

Is there any way of refreshin IE browser without activating it?

There are 2-3 IE browsers open on the computer. Can I send F5 key or browser refresh button key using AutoIT script?

Please note i do not want to activate those Ie windows.

Please let me know.

Thanks.

_IERefresh()

Func _IERefresh()
    Local $avWindows = WinList('[CLASS:IEFrame]')

    For $i = 1 To $avWindows[0][0]
        ControlSend($avWindows[$i][1], '', '', '{F5}')
    Next
EndFunc

Also, _IEAction has a "refresh" directive

Alternative to _IECreateEmbedded? better: _IECreatePseudoEmbedded  Better Better?

SciTe Debug mode - it's magic: #AutoIt3Wrapper_run_debug_mode=Y Doesn't work needs to be ripped out of the troubleshooting lexicon. It means that what you tried did not produce the results you expected. It begs the questions 1) what did you try?, 2) what did you expect? and 3) what happened instead?

heh, of-course. ;]

#include <IE.au3>

_IERefresh()

Func _IERefresh()
    Local $oIE, $aWin

    $aWin = WinList('[CLASS:IEFrame]')

    For $i = 1 To $aWin[0][0]
        $oIE = _IEAttach($aWin[$i][1], 'hwnd')
        $oIE.document.execCommand("Refresh")
        ;_IEAction($oIE, 'refresh')
    Next
EndFunc

Dale, mind to allow additional parameter in _IEAction, $fWait?

Dale, mind to allow additional parameter in _IEAction, $fWait?

No, I don't think so -- many _IEAction directives won't require it. Please follow with _IELoadWait

Also, _IEAttach has an "instance" parameter that can be used instead of the WinList.
