SpookMeister
I'm going to be messing around with a bunch of XML files shortly, but I know next to nothing about them.I did a quick search through the help file and couldn't find anything (except some references to the _Word* UDF).A search on here brought up _XMLDomWrapper.au3 which looks promising and I am looking into it now...But I was wondering if anyone had other suggestions of things I should be looking at as well, even a link to a general XML primer would be helpful.TIA,-Spook Helpful tips:If you want better answers to your questions, take the time to reproduce your issue in a small "stand alone" example script whenever possible. Richard Robertson
Depends on what you want to do with the XML.
SpookMeister
Depends on what you want to do with the XML.I'll be parsing, adding, removing, and modifying entries (elements? sections? shrug... whatever you call them) Helpful tips:If you want better answers to your questions, take the time to reproduce your issue in a small "stand alone" example script whenever possible. Richard Robertson
Elements. It's usually best to work with XML in a tree-like format. This is easier to do in object oriented languages. Good luck though. The XML UDFs are probably the easiest place to start.

__closed
Give me a better example of what you want to do and I will help you out. There is a simple XML file<root><data id="1">111</data><data id="2">222</data></root>How to get data from "data" where "id" is "2"? jvanegmond
You can XPath it: /Root/Data[@id=2]/I recall the function in XML DOM wrapper is XMLSelectNode.Edit: Typo. Edited August 14, 2009 by Manadar github.com/jvanegmond
