Hey.

I want to share one of my scripts with my friends, the problem is I would like it to "Install" several Include.au3's. The includes could be stored as text inside the script.

Basically, the script should put/or create several .au3 files in the AutoIt3\Include\ directory. The location part is not a problem, but how to create the files, that is the question ....

Read the entry about FileInstall in the helpfile ;)

Oh gosh, I feel stupid for not finding this in the help file... I was looking at "Install" and found only Install Directory Structure. Thanks allot ProgAndy you have saved the day! ^_^

You were not supposed to help because he's asking for Valuator (?) :(

Lol ^_^ I just saw him posting in the General Help and Support just now, thought this would catch his attention ;)

I'm completely in the dark about the Valuator-related side topic in this thread.

But if this was a legitimate question, in this particular instance, would it not be better to just run the script through the obfuscator with the /so option, rename the source that comes out of that, and distribute that to his freinds?
