Cyri Posted April 30, 2009 Posted April 30, 2009 I use the forums a lot and was wondering if you can add the forum search as a search provider in IE7? I tried using their method of searching for the term "TEST" and then pasting the URL in, but when I try and search it doesn't work. It just returns the same search results over and over. Anyone gotten this to work?
Richard Robertson Posted April 30, 2009 Posted April 30, 2009 You can't. The AutoIt board search is designed different from most search engines. The server generates a list of things it found and then displays that list. The list is stored with a temporary key.
WideBoyDixon Posted April 30, 2009 Posted April 30, 2009 I use Google to search the forums most of the time because it takes me to the correct "page" in long threads. For example in Google you can use: WideBoyDixon site:autoitscript.com WBD Wide by name, Wide by nature and Wide by girthScripts{Hot Folders} {Screen Calipers} {Screen Crosshairs} {Cross-Process Subclassing} {GDI+ Clock} {ASCII Art Signatures}{Another GDI+ Clock} {Desktop Goldfish} {Game of Life} {3D Pie Chart} {Stock Tracker}UDFs{_FileReplaceText} {_ArrayCompare} {_ToBase}~ My Scripts On Google Code ~
Cyri Posted May 1, 2009 Author Posted May 1, 2009 Cool, I forgot about the site: in google. I'll try that next time.
