Need some help

Recommended Posts

Hi,

I need some help with the following:

Let's say I have a variable containing:

29142829.29142829
49194749.49194749

Now, what I want to do it to dubble the .

I tried this but it only dubbles the last .

#include <String.au3>

$String = "29142829.29142829" & @LF & "49194749.49194749"

$Split = StringSplit($String, "")

For $i = 1 To $Split[0]
    If $Split[$i] = "." Then
        $test = _StringInsert($String, ".", $i)
    EndIf
Next

MsgBox(0, "", $test)

Does anyone know how to fix this? :D

AlmarM,

Or am I misunderstanding what you want to do?

$sString = "29142829.29142829" & @CRLF & "49194749.49194749"

$sNewString = StringReplace($sString, ".", "..")

ConsoleWrite($sNewString & @CRLF)
