I've accessed AutoIT for a quite long time, maybe I also have basic knowledges about it. But there is a thing that I can't figure out, I have worked on it but I still.......

Here are the questions, please help me :

1) What are DLL files? How to create a dll file by autoIT?

2) What do they contain?

3) What can they effect the computer, I have seen alot of code involve DLL, but I still don't get it

4) What are their functions?

5) Could you show me some basic functions interact with DLL file?

Thanks :D

for(loop=0; loop<infinity; loop++) { alert('I love you'); }

Dll stands for dynamic link library. They are pieces of executable code that cannot be launched as a program. They contain functions that programs and other libraries may use.

AutoIt cannot create dlls.

Dlls can do anything a regular program can do, plus a little more.

Dlls do whatever they are coded to do, no real limits.

Thanks for information,

I've seen user32.dll, so what are their functions? Could you show me and how to call those functions? And how can we know which code is contain in?

Except AutoIT, which can I use to create dlls?

Thanks again :D

Most DLL's for AutoIt are in C++ but many languages allow their creation. Vb, C# etc.
