  1. We have AutoIt code that performs a connection to an MS SQL database running SQL server 2012, tls 1.0. It has worked successfully for years. Today, our IT department migrated our database to a new server that is running SQL server 2016, tls 1.2. Now our connection string is no longer working. Here is the original that was working in SQL server 2012 $sConnStr = "DRIVER={SQL Server};SERVER=servername, port;DATABASE=dbname;UID=user;PWD=pass" When that would run on the new server in SQL server 2016. We are getting the error [Microsoft][ODBC SQL Server Driver][DBNETLIB]SS

  5. From AutoIT script (Pretty much same syntax as VBA), Tried connecting to MySQL Server. While i am able to insert a new row successfully, unable to verify the rowcount (# of inserted row - to verify success or failure). Have tried two different methods - to use the RecordsAffected variable from Connection Execute function to use the RecordSet and retrieve the rowcount But have been missing something and none of these methods return the actual row count. Any help would be appreciated.!!! Cross-posted in http://stackoverflow.com/questions/27411599/unable-to-retrieve
  6. I'm running the following code $sqlRs = ObjCreate("ADODB.Recordset") $sqlRs.open ($SQLQUERY,$SqlConn) $aOptionValue = $sqlRs.Fields ($fieldname).Value and it returns the value I'm looking for, but the problem is, there should be two different values. I was expecting an array as a result, but I'm clearly missing something. Anyone have suggestions?
