JohnOne 1,603 Posted September 6, 2010 It returns on array, Im assuming you meant results, and also that the between exists $aArray1 = _StringBetween('[18][20][3][5][500][60]', '[', ']') $HowManyDidItFind = UBound($aArray1) AutoIt Absolute Beginners Require a serial Pause Script Video Tutorials by Morthawt ipify Monkey's are, like, natures humans. Juvigy 49 Posted September 6, 2010 Return Value Success: A zero based $array[0] contains the first found string. Failure: 0 @Error - 1 = No inbetween string found.
supadodger 0 Posted September 6, 2010 (edited) i still dont see how that tells me how many it finds... this reply was for juvigy since he was no help at all... to the previous poster thanks Edited September 6, 2010 by supadodger
Juvigy 49 Posted September 6, 2010 (edited) Thought it is obvious - If function dont find the string it doesnt return array - just 0. If you dont check for that your script will crash. Just a clarification ,maybe should have written something to be more clear. @Edit Didnt notice that my copy paste of the return value replaced my text lines where pointing you to be careful and check the returned value.
