Simple addition..?

I've looked through the Math Management section in help, and I did a search on forum but to no avail.

What I want to do is simply take two vars and add them.. but I can't see to find the command to do so.

Just to add my 2 cents worth, there are other ways to do math with variables as well. Lets say you want $b to be added to $c, instead of creating another variable you can write:

$c = $c + $b

or the short version:

$c += $b
