augustspies Posted November 3, 2010 Posted November 3, 2010 Hey forum! I'm a brand new member here and had a problem with using autoit. i recorded a series of scripts that were all working a little bit ago, however all of a sudden when i try to test the recorded scripts again i get a flashing autoit icon and red X in the taskbar and the script is paused. has anyone ran into this before? If i record a new script it ends up working again. Thanks in advance

JohnOne Posted March 10, 2011 Posted March 10, 2011 You should really move away from that recording and use mousecoordmode which will work wherever your window is. AutoIt Absolute Beginners Require a serial Pause Script Video Tutorials by Morthawt ipify Monkey's are, like, natures humans.
augustspies Posted March 10, 2011 Author Posted March 10, 2011 4 Months for answer me, your are too fast ! haha wow it's been awhile hasn't it;) I was just getting into it and then forgot all about autoit. You should really move away from that recording and use mousecoordmode which will work wherever your window is.appreciate the recommendation, can you point me in the direction on where to start using that? I've never heard of that before. That definitely sounds so much better. I've found the recording option is VERY PICKY and very limited - if anything is off it just messes up everything.
