ControlGetText Return True for Null Values

Hi,

ControlGetText returns true for null values edit boxs. Its working fine for many pcs. For some of the pcs only having this issue.

I am using vb.net 2005, but in the same system while using VBA its working fine. How to resolve this???

it dont return true

Failure: Sets @error to 1 and returns a blank string of "".

Run("notepad.exe")
WinWait("[CLASS:Notepad]")
$var = ControlGetText("[CLASS:Notepad]", "", "Edit1")

If @error Then
    MsgBox(0,"error",@error)
Else
    MsgBox(0,"no error, text is...",$var)
EndIf

so i dont see how ControlGetText can returns True for null values edit boxs?!!

Maby error return True, but ControlGetText return blank string?
