blocking a network port or ports

Recommended Posts

I'm using 'Emsa Port Blocker' to block a certain(8080) port.

(If you want to know more about this, look in http://emsa-port-blocker.en.softonic.com/ )

With 'Emsa Port Blocker', all I have to do is click 'Blocked Remote Ports' and insert '8080' and click 'add', then

I can block the remote '8080' port during the port blocker is running.

And now I'm trying to make my own simple script to do the same thing.

But I'm not a professional about networking.

I looked into AutoIt Help file(.chm), and found there are TCP relevant functions like TCPCloseSocket or TCPShutdown,

But I'm puzzled how to use them.

Can I use these funtions to block a certain port? Then how can I?

I need your help, please help me. :graduated:
