Is AU3Recorder compatible with AutoIt3Ver 3.3.8.0?

It generates code that is not recognized by the AutoIt3 engine.

I am new so a recorder would provide vast insight.

Your posted snippet doesn't demonstrate what "doesn't work" with it. Can you be more specific as to what doesn't work?

This is a bug in Au3Recorder, this has nothing to do with the AutoIt-Version. The generator does not add the user defined _WinWaitActivate function although it is used.

I just ran the recorder and the generated code included that function when I saved the file.

So I pasted ProgAndy's function into the simple script and of course that fixed that error.

It never did include the function by itself even when saving as mentioned by BrewManNH.

From what I am reading in the forums, the recorder seems to act differently on different folks systems.
